Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes.
Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients.
Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Conduct regular quality checks on baked goods to ensure consistency and excellence in presentation.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
