Head Receptionist

As a
Head Receptionist,
you are responsible for providing exceptional reception service to all guests of the hotel, ensuring hotel quality standards are maintained whilst achieving maximum revenue and guest satisfaction. To assist with the control, accountability and ownership for the management of the Front Office Department. We want a
dedicated
individual who oozes
confidence
and shows genuine

for their team and every guest that walks through our doors.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Create and take advantage of sales opportunities in order to maximise hotel revenue.
To lead and create a team environment which promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the hotel.
To assist with the department training plan to meet the hotel business objectives and develop Team Members.
To assist with the recruitment of departmental team members in line with the Company recruitment procedures
To act as the hotel Duty Manager as required, ensuring a professional and friendly service throughout the hotel
To keep yourself informed of the hotel's goals and objectives and those of other departments, maximising the role you play in delivering the hotel budgeted profit.
To welcome all guests on their arrival and assist them in a courteous, helpful manner with registration and when checking out of the hotel.
Be fully aware of daily activities in the hotel and ensure knowledge of hotel facilities and promote them whenever possible.
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues in the reception area and other departments of the hotel.
Take personal responsibility in a guest situation to ensure that it gets resolved efficiently and follow-up to ensure that the guest leaves feeling satisfied.
Ensure that guests receive an exceptional level of service and will want to return.
Have a flexible approach to the hours you are required to work and always work as a team.
