Medivet Bromley is on the lookout for an inspiring and passionate Head RVN to lead our talented nursing team and play a key role in shaping the future of our practice.

Our Bromley clinic is well-equipped with everything you need to deliver exceptional care, from three consult rooms and a spacious prep area to a dedicated imaging suite, modern dental and radiography equipment, and a comfortable staff room where the team can unwind. As Head RVN, you'll take the lead in driving clinical excellence and inspiring the team around you. You'll oversee and support our RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs, champion nurse-led clinics, and work closely with our vets to ensure seamless patient care. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ideas, initiative, and compassion will truly make an impact.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team. Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Lead, manage and promote nurse led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Inspire your team, sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes. Engage, coach and develop your team. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.

Your Skills and Experience

RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Able to confidently lead a clinical team. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and nurse consultations. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
