The Head Therapist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of therapy services in a newly launched treatment space at Bingham Riverhouse.
This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality holistic treatments with an emphasis on massage, and an exceptional guest journey. The Head Therapist will be responsible for organizing therapist rotas, managing stock, maximizing the treatment diary, processing invoices, and maintaining a well-prepared treatment environment.
Responsibilities
Therapist Rota Management
Organize and maintain therapist schedules to ensure full coverage of all treatment bookings.
Coordinate with therapists to manage availability and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Conducting Treatments
Stock Management:
Order and manage stock for treatment supplies and equipment.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
Maximize Treatment Diary:
Strategically manage and optimize the treatment diary to increase bookings and revenue.
Implement promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Responsible for achieving departmental budget
Processing Invoices:
Ensure that all invoices related to treatments are processed in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate financial records and assist in budget management.
Treatment Delivery:
Perform high-quality therapeutic treatments in line with Bingham Riverhouse & Bhuti Standards
Ensuring the guest journey standards are met in line with Riverhouse & Bhuti standards
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance service offerings.
Treatment Room Preparation:
Ensure that the treatment room is always clean, organized, and fully equipped.
Maintain a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for client
Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications in therapy
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a wellness or spa environment.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
