Head Sports Coach

Pay:

15,873 (25 hours per week) -19,047.60 (30 hours per week)

Hours:

25-30 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Location:

Merseyside (L13 5TF), you may be a multiple schools throughout the week

The PE Specialist role with LSC allows you to share your passion for getting active and positively influence children in schools.

The role...

LSC is the largest provider of PPA cover across the UK and we are looking for a Sports Coach to join our team of subject specialists in our Birmingham region. Our PE Specialists deliver high quality PE lessons in primary schools ensuring children are developing and engaging in physical activity and finding their very own passion for sport.


During term time your day will be made up of delivering PE lessons, lunch time clubs and after school clubs plus some downtime to get your own planning and preparation done.


During the school holidays, we run our Holiday Camps which our coaches also lead or support on and this is where you can get really creative and have some fun!

Who is a skilled and passionate coach who wants to deliver engaging lessons in primary schools without excessive paperwork!


You may have a Sports Coaching degree, have carried out Level 2 coaching qualifications or simply have a passion for teaching!

Requirements

Physical Education Degree (desirable) Minimum of Level 2 National Governing Body Coaching Qualifications 2-3 years experience delivering PE lessons in UK primary schools Current and in date Safeguarding & First Aid Training (desirable) Valid DBS clearance
