We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being. This role involves providing therapeutic support to clients, utilising evidence-based practices to facilitate personal growth and healing. As a Therapist, you will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development of treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Duties
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, promoting a supportive environment for shared experiences.
Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy.
Train and work with your team to ensure a high level of customer service and standards within the hotel spa.
Ensure all working practices in the spa are managed to include bookings, staff rota's, health & safety requirements and customer service training.
Requirements
A relevant degree in psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field.
Valid professional accreditation or licensure as a Therapist in the UK.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Empathy and active listening skills to understand clients' concerns effectively.
Experience in therapeutic settings is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
