Head Veterinary Receptionist
Job Description
We are looking for a Head Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team at our busy Hereford practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and organised individual who thrives in a leadership role. We're seeking someone who leads by example--bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to team management. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the reception area, ensuring exceptional client service and fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
Brookfield Veterinary Practice is a well-established small animal practice that has been running for over 50 years. We are extremely proud to be independent and have continued to grow and evolve over the years. We take pride in delivering high standard customer care to our clients and their patients. We were recently awarded outstanding in the Royal College Client Care Award.
This role will require you to:
Oversee the reception team, ensuring daily tasks are completed in a timely manner, whilst managing your own admin duties and making sure that an exceptional level of customer service is maintained and delivered to all clients. Provide a high level of service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success. Coordinate the smooth running of the diary Support the Management team where required
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience in a reception or customer service role- or a veterinary setting essential. Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person. Highly organised, ability to multitask and stay focused in a busy environment. Good computer proficiency Flexibility to work on a rota basis. Compassionate, professional, and reliable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 26,000.00-32,000.00 per year
