Job Description
Exciting new opportunity to join our award winning team at Whatley Manor as Head Waiter/Waitress, supporting our food & beverage operation. Our ideal candidate will bring their Michelin background to provide impeccable service in our Michelin starred restaurant The Dining Room, and demonstrate the flexibility and skills to work across all outlets and lounges as required. We are looking for significant food and wine knowledge and ideally a willingness for self-improvement, possibly someone who is currently enrolled in a WSET course or service scholarship.
The Role:
As Head Waiter/ Waitress, you will support The Dining Room and afternoon tea service, ensuring that all sections and areas are running smoothly and efficiently. Our Head Waiter/ Waitress will take responsibility for the daily coaching and development of Chef de Rangs, Commis and take ownership of our guests' individual needs, providing them with the highest level of hospitality and service.We are looking for:
Head Waiter/ Waitress, with Michelin experience working in a luxury hotel or similar property Superb guest service skills with a background of exceeding guest expectations Great product knowledge with the ability to coach and develop team members Excellent standard of written and spoken English An engaging personality, able to communicate at all levels Immaculate personal presentation Pride and precision in your work
