Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the work area.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong guest service orientation with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively.
