Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our patrons. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the restaurant. Assist in the preparation of tables, including setting up cutlery, glassware, and condiments. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, providing assistance as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a passion for guest services is key. Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in both front-of-house and kitchen roles. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
