Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Server to join our team in a fast-paced fine dining environment. The Head Server will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by overseeing the dining room, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of service. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to effectively communicate with both guests and team members.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the serving staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to restaurant standards. Train new servers on menu offerings, service techniques, and restaurant policies. Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally. Utilize Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable systems for order processing and reservations. Implement upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations during food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Assist in managing inventory levels for food and beverage supplies as needed.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation, and food safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy. Previous experience as a server or host/host is preferred; nightclub experience is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs. Pay: 12.96-17.44 per hour
