We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Head Waiter/Waitree to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality & customer service, along with exceptional communication skills. As head waiter you will be responsible for maintaining the high levels of customer service and ensuring each guests recieves a outstanding personal experience. Your expertise will contribute to the overall atmosphere of our establishment, enhancing the culinary journey for our guests.

Responsibilities

Provide expert wine recommendations based on guests' preferences and food pairings. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create a seamless guest experience. Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant & bar Stay updated on industry trends, new releases, and emerging regions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a hospitality role, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and tasting notes. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Previous bartending or food preparation experience is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for helping others enjoy their dining experience through expert beverage selection.
