Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all details are noted for kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Handle payments accurately, using basic maths skills for transactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to provide outstanding guest services, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience in serving, food preparation, or culinary roles is an advantage. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments effectively.
