We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as an Headteacher



The successful candidate will:



Under the overall direction, the Headteacher plays a lead role in formulating the aims, objectives of the schools and establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved Lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all pupils Provide direction and line management of the senior leadership team Be responsible for the standards and curriculum of all pupils including monitoring of progress towards achievement To have a central responsibility for raising the quality of teaching and learning and for pupils' achievement. Setting high expectations and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of learning outcomes Manage safeguarding across the school and act according to Keeping Children Safe in Education. Provide curriculum leadership across the school Lead regular reviews of all school systems to ensure statutory requirements are being met and improved on where appropriate Lead on Ofsted inspections including the independent schools' standards Manage staff development programmes and school resources Lead on formulating and reviewing the School Development Plan

Our ideal candidate will have:



A committed and passionate view of students with SEND At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision QTS/QTLS is requirement

It is my pleasure to welcome you to North Bridge Enterprise College. The college opened in 2013 for pupils who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion due to their challenging behaviours, and for those pupils who require more specialised interventions than can be provided in a mainstream college. Focusing on KS3 to KS4.


The school provides a safe learning environment, re-engaging them in their education with a focus on preparation for post 16. North Bridge provides a personalised learning environment. All staff ensure we offer a warm, friendly, inviting school that offers a broad curriculum. We have high expectations for our pupils academically and aim to provide a curriculum that both inspires and challenges them.
