. Based in Thatcham, this role covers both sites, which are located next to each other, and plays a key part in maintaining and improving health and safety standards across manufacturing, installation, construction and office environments.
You will support compliance with UK health and safety legislation, help reduce risk, promote positive safety behaviours and assist with the day-to-day administration of health and safety arrangements across the group.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being visible on site, working collaboratively with managers and staff, and helping embed safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities
Support the development, review and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures and method statements
Assist with compliance with UK health and safety legislation and industry standards
Carry out workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments across both sites
Support accident, incident and near-miss reporting and investigations
Help organise training, inductions and toolbox talks
Maintain accurate health and safety records, including training logs, COSHH and inspection reports
Provide practical, frontline health and safety advice to staff and contractors
About You
Essential:
Experience in a health and safety support role, or strong operational experience with a good understanding of safe working practices
NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely
Good working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
Ability to produce risk assessments and method statements for manufacturing and construction environments
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicating with staff at all levels
Desirable:
Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or installation environments
Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles
