We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager on behalf of a large global nutrition group operating in 32 countries with leading market positions in sports nutrition, cheese, dairy ingredients, speciality non-dairy ingredients and vitamin and mineral premixes. This role will be based at their Craigavon site.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing direction, leadership, advice and delivering on site activities relating to Health and Safety management in collaboration with the site management team. You will ensure the development and promotion of a best-in-class safety culture on site through the implementation of the company health and safety strategy in conjunction with the wider business health and safety team, the site management team and all our employees.
The Person
- NEBOSH Diploma or similar level qualification.
- minimum of 5 Years post qualification experience in a large-scale manufacturing operation with responsibility for health and safety.
- Hands on experience in conducting Inspections, Audits, incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Excellent knowledge of Northern Ireland Health and Safety Legislation.
