Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees while complying with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to promote workplace safety, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective safety policies.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices, including first aid procedures. Investigate incidents and accidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety within the organisation. Stay updated on industry trends, legislation changes, and best practices related to health and safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a similar industry. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. Certification in first aid is highly desirable. Proficient in conducting root cause analysis for incident investigations. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 45,000.00-70,000.00 per year
