The principal duties will be to ensure the organisation, and its employees comply with the relevant health and safety and fire safety legislation and that its own health and safety policies and practices are adhered to. You will be required to assist in the delivery, development and implementation of an authority wide scheme for health and safety training which ensures objectives are set, relevant training made available and indicators agreed and records kept.


To successfully fulfil this role a high level of communication, technological and interpersonal skills are essential in addition to extensive H&S experience and knowledge, preferably within multiple areas and working environments. You will be expected to contribute towards the attainment of corporate and service objectives.
