Summary

We are seeking an experienced online tutor to teach the

Access to Health and Social Care Diploma

. This qualification prepares learners for progression into higher education courses or careers in health and social care sectors.

The course is primarily delivered online, so it is essential that you can engage, inspire, and motivate students in a virtual learning environment.

Candidates should be confident in independently marking and assessing student work in accordance with Awarding Body requirements.

You should have thorough knowledge of awarding body standards and expectations for the Access to Health and Social Care Diploma.

Candidates must be able to prepare and plan engaging learning resources in addition to those provided by the centre.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging online training sessions and provide constructive feedback to students Manage the submission and marking of assignments and assessments in a timely manner Respond promptly to student queries and provide academic support Monitor student progress and support learners to achieve their goals

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Health and Social Care, Social Work, Nursing, or a related subject is essential A relevant teaching qualification or experience in delivering Access to Higher Education courses is highly desirable Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care or Access to Higher Education qualifications Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts related to health and social care to diverse learners Experience in marking and supervising student work with adherence to awarding body standards Good English language skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 300.00-800.00 per month
