Job Description

Humly North East are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join one of our dedicated teaching teams. This is a full-time position, delivering engaging and high-quality education to learners preparing for careers in the health and social care sectors. The role is Monday to Friday and offers a stimulating opportunity to shape the future workforce in this vital field.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, deliver, and assess a range of health and social care units at various levels Support students through their academic journey, offering guidance, feedback, and pastoral support Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the sector Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to promote excellence in teaching and learning

Essential Requirements:



Previous lecturing experience in Health and Social Care or a related science field A minimum of 3 months UK teaching experience A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS/ QTLS/ PGCE) A degree or professional qualification in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Psychology, Biology, or related disciplines Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

Desirable:



Experience teaching BTEC, T Level, or Access to HE courses Knowledge of current practices and legislation in the health and social care sector

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: 26.00-34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
