Summary



As a Trainer at Caring Connections, you will play a vital role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our care support workers. This position is essential for ensuring that our team provides the highest quality of personalized support to those we serve in the community.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver induction and refresher training sessions in: Manual Handling (People Moving & Handling) First Aid (Emergency First Aid or Full First Aid) Safeguarding Infection Control Medication Awareness Health and Safety Other mandatory and specialist subjects relevant to domiciliary care Assess learners' competency and provide constructive feedback Ensure training materials are current and compliant with CQC and Skills for Care guidelines Maintain accurate training records and contribute to training audits Support staff development through coaching and on-the-job support when required Work collaboratively with management to identify training needs and improve service delivery

Requirements:



Up-to-date

Train the Trainer qualification

in:

Manual Handling

First Aid

Experience delivering training in a health and social care setting (preferably domiciliary care) Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS / Level 3 Award in Education and Training or above) In-depth knowledge of adult social care regulations and best practices Strong presentation, communication, and organisational skills Ability to tailor training to diverse learning styles and abilities Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 per week
