Preston North End Community and Education Trust is the official charity of Preston North End FC, a professional football club based in Preston, Lancashire, competing in the Sky Bet Championship.

Utilising the power of Preston North End Football Club, we address the needs of our community and enhance lives through our health and wellbeing support, while providing opportunities through accessible education and connecting our community through positive engagement.
Summary:
Preston North End Community and Education Trust (PNECET) seeks a Health and Wellbeing Coach for a full-time, fixed-term role (until July 1, 2029) to deliver female-only Healthy Weight for Adults and Play and Skills at Teatime Activities (PASTA) Family programmes.
Based at Deepdale, the home of Preston North End, the role pays 24,000 - 26,000 and involves reducing obesity and promoting healthy lifestyles through education and physical activity. Benefits include a laptop, pension, up to 35 days leave, and two PNEFC season cards.
Responsibilities:
Lead female-only sessions for adults (BMI 25-39.9) to support weight loss and wellbeing
Advise on nutrition, behaviour change, and physical activity
Manage participant referrals and onboarding
Collaborate with GPs, schools, and community partners
Deliver after-school sessions for children (5-8) and parents
Facilitate cooking demos and physical activities
Ensure safe, inclusive environments
Build participant relationships
Refine programme content based on feedback
Submit monthly data and ensure safeguarding
Requirements
:
Degree in Health or related field (desirable)
Five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above (essential)
Level 2/3 Fitness/Personal Training qualification (essential)
First aid and safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain) (essential)
Experience in behaviour change and working with vulnerable groups (essential)
Ability to motivate children and adults (essential)
Experience in weight management and physical activity sessions (essential)
Knowledge of Preston's demographics, nutrition, and safeguarding
