Culrose Residential Care Home is registered for 32 older people in the village of Dickleburgh.

We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our team at Culrose Residential Care Home as Day Care Assistants.

You will be able to work flexibly, have a positive attitude and have a strong passion for providing high quality care and support to our residents. You will a self starter, resilient, be organised and able to work independently and also as part of the team.

The role on offer is a 36.75 hours per week on a set two-week rota

Job Types: Full-time

Full training will be provided along with an Induction day

Summary

As a Health Care Assistant (Days), you will be integral to providing compassionate and personalized care to patients in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Reporting to the nursing staff, your core responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans. Your premium skills in driving and familiarity with care home protocols will enhance patient mobility and comfort. Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT will further support effective interactions with both patients and healthcare teams, ensuring high-quality care and support. Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor and document patient health and report any changes to nursing staff. Develop and follow care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the care home. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they are informed and comfortable. Drive patients to appointments as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar role Strong communication skills in English Ability to create and implement care plans Familiarity with home care practices and care home environments Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting Valid driving license is preferred for transportation needs
