About the Role:


We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to join a network of leading care providers in Doncaster and surrounding area's on a

temporary

basis. In this rewarding role, you will contribute to creating a warm, nurturing environment where residents feel safe, valued, and empowered to live their lives to the fullest. Your efforts will directly impact their well-being and help them thrive in a supportive, person-centred setting.

Your responsibilities will include:



Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support mobility, transfers using appropriate equipment such as hoists or walking aids.

Assist with feeding and ensuring residents receive the appropriate nutrition and hydration

Record vital signs and update care records.

Encourage independence and engage residents in activities to promote well-being.

Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with residents and families.

Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

Follow care plans and report any changes in residents' conditions.

Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

Adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality policies.

Shift Patterns:

Mornings, Afternoons, Long Days, and Nights

Pay Rate:

13.68 to 15 per hour (including holiday pay) dependent on client, location & shift type.

Candidate Requirements:



Minimum 1 year experience in a care setting Trained to use hoists and other moving & handling equipment A caring, compassionate, and empathetic attitude Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records Flexible approach, sensitive to the needs of residents Ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families Medication training is beneficial but not essential A valid UK driving license is required as you will be expected to travel between different care clients
