Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our clients in both care home and home care settings. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of those in your care, and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering effective care plans.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist in the development of individual care plans. Drive to various locations as required to provide home care services. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and maintained properly within the care environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and using healthcare software systems. A background in care homes or home care settings will be beneficial for understanding client needs and expectations.
