Job Description
The Avenue Nursing Home is a family-run, purpose-built, 64-bed luxury care facility located in the Clayton area of Bradford. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, personalised care in a homely and supportive environment. Our state-of-the-art nursing home offers both nursing and residential care, with dedicated provision for adults living with dementia.
As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents during the Night, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met with dignity and respect. You will promote independence, choice, and wellbeing in line with a person-centred care ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans
Assist residents with all aspects of daily living, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
Foster meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
Maintain accurate records and report any changes in resident condition to senior staff
Uphold the rights, dignity, and privacy of each resident at all times
Participate in training and continuous professional development opportunities
What we are looking for
Minimum of 1 year's experience
in a care home setting as a Care Assistant isessential
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays Polite manner and professional attitude Commitment to promoting resident wellbeing and a positive care environmentWhat we offer
