Bay Court Nursing Home, is a Nursing and Residential home in the lovely seaside town of Budleigh Salterton. We are registered to accept 29 residents.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to work at NIGHT with a good sense of humour and a passion for making a difference to people's lives to join our hard working and dedicated team.

Job description

Assist residents with all aspects of personal care, including toileting, bathing and dressing whilst encouraging independence and ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

Enhance and promote residents' quality of life.

Ensure high levels of person centred care.

Ensuring every resident is treated with warmth, respect and great kindness.

Comply with all Manual Handling and Health and Safety Equipment Policies

Assist residents with life-story materials and encourage discussions about their interest, memories and ambitions.

Maintain all residents' records and give written and verbal reports, whilst ensuring confidentiality.

To be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Experience: One year providing care

NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)

Hard working, honest and reliable

Willing to learn and expand knowledge of care
