We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our night team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in health or behaviour.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the leadership of the care team by supervising junior staff when necessary.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
ensure residents are supported and monitored through out the night.
Experience
Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
Familiarity with senior care practices and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Strong communication skills to engage with residents and their families compassionately.
Leadership qualities that enable you to supervise and guide less experienced staff members.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed.
