Halsdown House is looking for an enthusastic, hard working individual to join our small friendly team. We are a 14 bedded privately owned residential home who provide 24/7 care for elderly individuals with varying physical needs.

We are looking for an individual who has previously worked in a Health Care setting and ideally holds a valid diploma level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to not only the residents and colleagues but also relevant professionals either face to face or over the phone. The role will predominately include working waking night shifts alongside a senior Team leader.

The role includes alternate weekends and can either be part time or full time.

You will be expected to provide personal care to our residents as well as looking after their nutritional and hydration needs, part of the role will include being able to document effectively and concisely in the individuals electronic care plan records.

We are a very pro active home who are always out and about, promoting external activities as much as possible, you will be asked to escort on outings to venues which often include pub lunches, theatre trips and shopping in town.

We work with a training provider offering apprenticeships, for the right candidate we would be able to support you with a level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care to progress your skills.

Pay: From 12.45 per hour
