We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for our clients.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere during home visits.
Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation of clients.
