caring, reliable, and attentive Nightshift Care Assistants in the Launceston area

to join our dedicated overnight team, supporting residents and clients through the quiet hours with dignity and respect.

Since 2015, we have been committed to delivering exceptional care solutions across Devon and Cornwall and supporting various councils, tenders and 3rd party companies meet their Care needs.

As a Care Assistant at Indiana Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Located in the Saltash area, you will provide compassionate support to service users in their own home, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized attention they deserve.

What You'll Do:

Provide personal care and emotional support throughout the night Assist residents in their own home with night-time routines, toileting, repositioning, and comfort checks Monitor resident wellbeing and promptly report any concerns Work closely with nursing staff to ensure each individual's care plan is followed Keep accurate records and maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a care, nursing, or healthcare setting preferred (but not required) A caring, patient, and dependable nature Willingness to work night shifts, including some weekends or holidays A team player with a strong sense of responsibility Certification in CPR or First Aid is a plus
Requirements

Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members. Experience or knowledge of care plans and working within a domiciliary or supported living environment is preferred. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are beneficial but not essential.

A valid driving license, access to your own car and business insurance is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
