Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering exceptional home care services.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring their specific needs are met. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client status and needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous. A valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties. A caring attitude with a passion for helping others is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: 11.44-22.66 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
