We are recruiting for smart and kind-hearted Health Care Assistant, to join our team in providing compassionate care to our young clients Islington.
Shift may include - Day shifts (weekdays) of AM/PM and Weekends shifts (AM/PM)
Note: Minimum of 2 years quality care experience and interest to make career in care is essential, including demonstration in supporting persons with ASC (Autism) and PDA (Perversive Demand Avoidance),
team-work, self-initiating
capabilities and ability to think out of the box for the best interest of client!
The post holder's duties among others may include accompaniment of the young client to school, routine activities in the community, light domestic cleaning at home, personal care, and supporting vulnerable persons, including attending activities - example swimming, local community and library!
Other specific responsibilities for the role include:
Support client to engage in activities
To work within our client's home, escorting to activities and accessing community and appointments.
Support client to maintain efficient oral care and personal hygiene, etc
Good records keeping and adherence to policies in place
Post holder will be required to take shifts, be punctual and proper handover
Post holder to use skills to support clients, including support when there is behaviour that challenges
Post holder to undergo DBS checks and references for character.
Post holder must demonstrate willingness to undergo relevant training!

Good communication skills and PECs, and strong reporting of activities
Experience to work with person with learning and physical disabilities* Good interpersonal skills, efficient with personal care and working with others effectively.
