We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in English, and have a genuine passion for helping others. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalised care plans.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.
Experience
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is essential.
A strong understanding of basic healthcare practices and principles.
Excellent communication skills are crucial for interacting with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Documents
A valid driving license is advantageous for transporting clients when needed.
A valid enhanced DBS is desirable.

Valid visa for more than 6 months is essential.
