Urgent Vacancy/Sponsorship Available

Two Healthcare Assistants needed for a lovely young man with learning difficulties. Our client is not mobile and he uses a wheelchair, which requires hoisting in and out bed. The hours are in the morning 7am -8:30am and evenings 4:30pm -7:30pm (till 8:30pm on Mondays). Saturday, 10am -3:30pm and Sunday, 3pm - 4:30pm. The shifts are double-handed, and the client requires personal care.

The potential staff will also be allocated to other shifts to make up for their weekly hour of 37.5 hour/week.

What will your role as a Domiciliary Home Care Worker look like?

To carry out and undertake specific, personal care and light housework which will provide good quality of health and well-being for our service users To support service users with shopping, hospital appointments and food prep To contribute, develop and implement service users' individual care plans To work flexibly and meet service users' support needs To communicate effectively and professionally with family and advocates To actively talk and actively listen to service users To work efficiently and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims and objectives of the company To complete induction and mandatory training when necessary Commit yourself to developing skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager and your colleagues To be person-centred in all aspects of your role
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.85-13.00 per hour
