We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Support residents in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong driving skills may be beneficial for roles involving transportation of residents. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and team members. Excellent IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software systems. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.
