Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our compassionate team at Chanctonbury Healthcare. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while feeling at home in our welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English to interact with residents and team members effectively. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
