Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to clients in their own home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires advanced communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement care plans. A valid driving licence is essential, as you need to travel across Chelmsford to different clients.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate clearly with patients and their families, providing updates on their condition and any changes in care requirements. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any concerns to the management team Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by following health and safety protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. Engage patients in social activities to promote mental well-being and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Driving license is essential to get from one location to the next Basic IT skills for maintaining patient records and communicating with the healthcare team. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required.
