As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing our clients' wellbeing and quality of life. This position is ideal for compassionate individuals who provide exceptional, respectful, and professional care. You will work closely with clients, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs while upholding our mission to offer personalized, high-quality care experiences.

This service operates 24/7, so you will need to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight sleep-in shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

Please note: A full UK driving license is required due to the specific needs of the individuals we support.

What is the role?



Personalised Care:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation, while being attentive to their preferences and comfort levels.

Emotional Support:

Provide companionship and a comforting presence to clients, fostering positive relationships that enhance their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Adaptability: Work flexibly, adapting to each client's changing needs and adjusting care plans to deliver the highest support quality.

Dependability:

Arrive promptly and provide consistent, reliable care, ensuring clients and their families can count on you for support.

Professional Integrity:

Uphold honesty and transparency in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues, building trust through respectful and ethical conduct.

Maintain a well-ordered, safe environment for clients, adhering to structured care routines and accurate record-keeping.

What will you be expected to do?



We at Llewelyn Support will assess you on your values and communication to support vulnerable people in your community.

We will then provide you with all the training, coaching and mentoring you need to be the best Support Worker you can be.

As a Support Worker, you will help vulnerable people participate in wonderful social activities, such as walking groups, cinema, meals with family members, and gardening.

As a Support Worker, you will develop, implement, and review a range of individual support plans to enable the person you will support to lead a fulfilling life.

You will provide support with a range of tasks, including household and domestic tasks, shopping, diet/food preparation, personal care, personal hygiene, dressing, and personal appearance.

What skills and experience do you need?



Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (preferred but not required).

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a care environment.

Certification in first aid and basic life support (preferred).

Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.

Willingness to participate in ongoing training to improve caregiving skills.

What are the pay and benefits?



12.30 per hour

Sleep in rate : 60.00 - 70.00

Fully funded and supported qualification - NVQ Diplomas

Social Wales Registration and DBS paid for by Llewelyn Support

Paid work-related travel at 45p per mile between services.

Premium payments for sleep-in and wake-in.

Full training programme and opportunities for development and promotion. Including an Aspiring Managers programme.

24 days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays. Increasing after 5 years' service.
