Applications are invited for the post of Health and Safety Administrative Assistant in the Health, Safety, and Business Continuity Directorate (HSBC).
The HSBC provides a range of support to the University around health, safety, and business continuity. This role will provide a broad range of administrative support tasks to members of the team and others within the college as required. In addition, they administer a number of committees and w0rking groups that make up the health and safety assurance structure.
We require a professional and personable individual who can prioritise tasks and demonstrates a high level of organisational skills and flexibility. Their task will be varied but will include: the use of financial systems to raise requisitions, organising health surveillance appointments, processing date to produce reports, publishing the team webpage, and managing training records, contact lists, and other documentation.
The HSBC is customer focused, assisting and empowering colleagues to allow them to make appropriate decisions about health and safety. While legal compliance is the minimum, we strive for excellence and best practice within the Higher Education sector. This is achieved through building relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally. While this role will not be providing health and safety advice an interest or experience in the area is an advantage.
