We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing utilities contractor that delivers multi-utility connections across residential and commercial developments. Due to continued success and expansion, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Auditor to join their high-performing HSQE team.

About the Role
As a Health & Safety Auditor, you will carry out structured audits across multiple sites, depots, and regions, ensuring compliance with both internal standards and client requirements. You will work closely with site teams and management to promote a strong safety culture and improve compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Health & Safety audits across operational sites and regions
Audit key compliance areas such as plant, excavations, training, and vehicle use
Review and assist with site-specific risk assessments
Track and ensure close-out of non-conformances
Engage with site teams, managers, and subcontractors
Maintain detailed audit reports and action logs
Support compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
Promote a positive safety culture and zero-incident approach
Requirements
Previous auditing experience in construction or utilities
Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
Multi-utility background (Gas, Water, Electric) is desirable
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Experience with ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
Confidence engaging with operatives and reviewing compliance records
Well-organised, with the ability to manage audit schedules and follow-up
Full UK driving licence
