Job Description

The Safety Consultants Company Ltd is an exciting business looking to grow, and we are pleased to announce we are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor

Our business delivers health and safety advice to many different sectors such as construction, manufacturing, retail, and education sectors. Our head office is based in Leeds, but the position requires travel to visit the customers at their premises or location of work which can be nationwide.

This is a unique opportunity to help grow a business alongside the directors which will further provide an opportunity for the individual to develop and grow with the business.

Qualifications required:



NEBOSH General and/or Construction or Equivalent We would be happy to invest in additional training to further develop the employees skill set. Clean UK drivers License Diploma in Health and Safety (not essential) Accident Investigation (preferred but not essential) NEBOSH Environmental Management ( not essential) - Or Equivalent NEBOSH Fire Safety (not essential) - Or Equivalent. Auditing / Site Inspection Training

Skills Required:



Experience of working in or around construction and manufacturing industries Experience of working in a health and safety advisory role Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations and in particular CDM regulations Health and Safety Inspection and auditing experience Delivering training sessions/toolbox talks High level of time management and work planning Appreciation of sales / commercial strategy understanding Understanding of trend reporting Ability to undertake gap analysis reports A good understanding of report writing with a good understanding of the English language. excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities



Delivering a quality advisory services to customers Offering health & safety advise to the highest standards Updating Customers with new and up to date legislation Working alongside the directors to grow the business Promoting the company's image and core values Effectively responding to the clients' requirements and needs Delivering Health & Safety training sessions/toolbox talks to customers Calendar / time management Pro-active approach to engaging with customers Development of clients health and safety strategy Providing clients with trend analysis feedback to guide the client focus Development of health and safety documentation including but not limited to policies, risk assessments, COSHH assessments
