Due to Pegasus Concepts Ltd continued growth and expansion, we are looking to strengthen our Health & Safety and are seeking an experienced
Health & Safety Coordinator
to join our team.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, confident managing H&S across multiple projects, and looking for a flexible working arrangement. Hours can be discussed and may suit school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and systems
Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and industry standards
Prepare and maintain RAMS, site-specific H&S documentation, and risk assessments
Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding H&S requirements
Maintain training records and coordinate H&S-related training
Support management in embedding a strong Health & Safety culture across the business
Assist with setting up reactive work
Additional Duties:
Provide administrative support as required across the business
Assist with general office and compliance-related administration
Training will be provided for additional administrative duties
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a Health & Safety role (construction, signage, fit-out, or similar environment preferred)
Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable:
Experience working across multiple sites or projects
Familiarity with construction/design & build environments
Working Hours:
Flexible working hours available
Reduced hours considered (e.g. school hours)
