You'll lead a small maintenance team, oversee equipment reliability and building upkeep, as well as ensuring a safe, compliant working environment across all the site.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safelty & Environmental
Lead and develop the site's health, safety and environmental systems (HSE)
Conduct risk assessments, audits and accident investigations, ensure all actions are followed up
Manage planned and reactive maintenance for machinery, fabrication equipment and building facilities
Oversee statutory inspections (PUWER, LOLER, LEV, PAT etc)
Control mainenance budgets, contractors and spare parts inventory
Deliver safety training, inductions and toolbox talks to all staff
Drive continuous improvement in safety culture, equipment reliability and energy efficiency
About You
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment essential
Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and engineering maintenance practices
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
Engineering or technical background (mechanical or electrical)
Confident communicator and hands-on leader
