As our

Health & Safety Manager

, youll lead the charge in creating a proactive, values-led safety culture across all Intelli-Park operational environments. Youll partner with our operational, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure every colleague, contractor, and visitor goes home safe, every day.

Purpose of the Role




To lead, implement, and manage Intelli-Parks Health & Safety strategy across all operational and service delivery environments, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards, and client requirements.


The role drives a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement supporting the COO and regional managers to embed safe, compliant, and efficient ways of working.

(Employee wellbeing and ISO system management are owned by the People & Culture team, but this role contributes to ISO 45001 and 14001 compliance for all operational activities.)

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Delivery



Act as the competent personfor operational Health & Safety under the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Partner with the COO and operational leaders to deliver a Group-wide Health & Safety strategy aligned to business objectives. Provide expert advice to senior managers on all operational H&S matters and projects. Lead major safety improvement initiatives and post-incident reviews.

Operational Safety Management



Oversee compliance across Intelli-Park sites, depots, and client locations. Conduct and review risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work for operational activities. Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations; ensure root-cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented. Support fleet safety, driver risk, and contractor management programmes. Ensure all statutory inspections (fire, PAT, electrical, equipment) are current and documented.

Audit, Compliance & Reporting



Support the People & Culture Compliance team by providing operational evidence for ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 audits. Conduct internal site safety audits and inspections, driving local ownership of actions. Report key safety metrics, trends, and improvement actions to the COO and Executive Team. Liaise with external bodies (HSE, local authorities, insurers) as required.

Training, Engagement & Culture



Deliver targeted Health & Safety training across all levels, including induction, manual handling, and toolbox talks. Maintain networks of first aiders, fire wardens, and mental health first aiders. Champion visible, values-driven safety through campaigns and engagement initiatives. Coach managers and supervisors to embed Health & Safety leadership in their teams.

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)



Support delivery of Intelli-Parks sustainability and ESG commitments, especially around ISO 14001 and carbon reduction. Promote environmental awareness and safe waste and energy management practices in operational settings.

What Youll Bring



NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification). Chartered or Graduate Member of IOSH (or working towards). Proven Health & Safety experience in a

multi-site operational environment

(parking, logistics, engineering, or construction). Deep understanding of UK H&S legislation and best practice standards (RIDDOR, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER). Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, audits, and risk management frameworks. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational and analytical capability, with confidence using digital reporting systems.
