Health and Safety Manager (National, field-based)




Salary:

50,000 - 55,000 + company car / car allowance

Contract:

Permanent, full-time (37.5 hrs, Monday-Friday)

Location:

Field-based with travel across the UK (ideally Midlands-centred) - head office in Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey




About the role





TC Facilities Management (TCFM) is looking for an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead our H&S agenda across 3,500+ colleagues and 1,500 sites nationwide. Reporting to the Group QHSE Manager, you'll shape policy, guide operational teams, and own ISO 45001 compliance - all while driving a positive safety culture.



What you'll be doing




Set, maintain, and improve H&S and fire-safety standards in line with ISO 45001 and current UK legislation. Deliver internal audits, risk assessments, COSHH reviews, accident investigations, and RIDDOR reporting. Track safety metrics, identify trends, and share insights with senior leadership. Lead Corrective Action Meetings and coach managers on best practice. Act as primary contact for the HSE and other regulatory bodies. Support contract mobilisations/demobilisations and national projects.

What we're looking for




NEBOSH General Certificate

or

IOSH Managing Safely (minimum). Proven track record in multi-site H&S management (ideally FM, cleaning, or security). Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 frameworks. Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel for data analysis. Confident communicator able to influence at all levels and travel UK-wide.
