Join a growing, forward-thinking nationwide roofing contractor working with a select portfolio of blue-chip clients. We're seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead our safety strategy and ensure best-in-class standards across our operations.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, utilising root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance, including recommendations for improvements. Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practices, including first aid procedures. Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. Monitor workplace conditions to ensure adherence to established health and safety standards. Foster a proactive health and safety culture by engaging employees in safety initiatives. Oversee health and safety compliance across multiple roofing sites nationwide, nights out may often be required.

Experience

Proven experience in a health and safety management role within a similar industry. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Proficiency in report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques to effectively address workplace incidents. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Requirements

NEBOSH Qualification (Minimum Requirement) Experience in construction or roofing sectors preferred.
