We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals through home care services, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties
Assist residents or clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and social interactions.
Follow care plans meticulously to ensure that each individual's needs are met appropriately.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on the individual's condition and any changes in behaviour or health.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff members.
Drive to clients' homes as required for home care services, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to scheduled visits.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is necessary for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for those providing home care services.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
