As this is a community-based role,

you'll need a valid UK driving licence and access to a car.

Main Responsibilities

Within this role you will:

To assist in providing nursing care as delegated by the Senior Sister/Team Sister within patient's homes. To maintain knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the changing needs of patients. To provide clerical and administrative support to the team as delegated by the Senior Sister/Teaam Sister. To undertake the technical aspects of nursing care e.g. Dressings, glucose monitoring etc. following a period of training and when deemed competent to do so. To implement evidence-based nursing care, within the patient's home. To have the ability to work unsupervised, planning and organising tasks and home visits as delegated by the nurse in charge. Maintain accurate and legible patient records in line with professional and organisational requirements - this includes electronic patient record system (CIS) and any paper records



The Ideal Candidate

This is an opportunity to put your NVQ level 2/3 or the equivalent appropriate qualification/experience to great use. With strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

In this role, you will need to be able to travel across the patch in a timely manner so a UK driving license is needed and access to a car.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
