Are you a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant looking to enhance your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment?
We are excited to launch a new phlebotomy service and are seeking an enthusiastic HCA to join us for 22.5 hours per week. Please note candidates must be able to work Wednesdays 8am - 2pm. These positions include working on a rotational basis within our Community Nursing Team, providing the opportunity for a more varied and rewarding role.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing service that puts patient care at the heart of everything we do. You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality phlebotomy services while also supporting patients in their homes as part of our community nursing rotation.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:

Perform venepuncture and support the delivery of our new phlebotomy service for both Adults and Children.
Carry out patient interventions within your scope of practice.
Manage your own schedule to ensure timely visits are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant (community experience desirable)
Phlebotomy training or willingness to undertake training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be available to work every Wednesday, 8am - 2pm
